As a tributary of the Yellow River, the wuding River along the Mu us Sandy Land is an important ecological area of the Yellow River basin in Inner Mongolia.According to our recent research in the sandy land of the upper reaches of the Wuding River, after several generations of continuous governance, the rate of governance in mu Us Sandy land has reached 70%, the quality of ecological environment has been significantly improved, and people’s production and living conditions have been significantly improved.However, the development risks are also beginning to surface.Problems such as rigid policies, backward technologies and constraints on industrial development pose challenges to the transformation of Mu Us ecological governance into sustainable development.
