Lanzhou’s consumer prices rose 1.5% year-on-year in February

The consumer price index (CPI) in Lanzhou rose 1.5% year-on-year in February, 0.4 percentage points higher than the previous month, according to the latest data released by the Lanzhou survey team of the National Bureau of Statistics on March 14.Food prices fell by 4.5 percent and non-food prices rose by 2.8 percent.Consumer prices rose 1.8 percent and service prices rose 1.0 percent.From January to February, the average consumer price in Lanzhou rose 1.3 percent from last year.Lanzhou’s consumer prices rose 0.7 percent month-on-month in February, up 0.5 percentage points from the previous month.Food prices rose 1.3% and non-food prices 0.6%.Consumer prices rose 1.0 percent and services prices rose 0.3 percent.Food, tobacco and alcohol prices fell 0.3 percent year on year in February, while the other seven categories all rose.Prices of food, tobacco and alcohol rose by 1.3 percent month-on-month, while prices of the other seven categories rose four times and stayed flat three times.Lanzhou Daily all media reporter Jiang Ling
